koran comes from aramaic for korowo or sermon in a christian church. jame3 means a community of believers just what the church in the christian faith mean.

hoooooooooo ;D
the actual spellings are Qur'aan, not that koran thing. But christians jews are hell bent on producing some spellings that may proove the christian or jewish origin of Islam. Anyway, is someone trying to find another way to publish his anti-islamic publications? trying to ask childish questions to gather some respone and analyze?

Huri, Quit being so ignorant! obviously the pronunciation of the spelling "k-O-R-A-N" is different from the SPelling of "Q-U-R-A-A-N". Quraan is the proper pronuncition, which has no relevance to your theory. what is your point anyway?!

arabic is a separate language from english. english grammer rules are not the same as the grammer rules of the arabic language and vice-versa. therefore there is no difference if someone says the Koran or the Quran.

english is a very modern language...orignating from when the anglo-saxons invaded england.
It is a very modern language.
Arabic however is one of the oldest languages to exist... thus the word QU'RAAN is arabic and has nothing to do with english...when people say "koran" that is because they cannot pronounce the proper arabic so so they say the word how they can. It does not make it an authentic english word used to call it that but is merely an error in pronuciation.
so the associations you are trying to make are baseless.
